The Assistant Manager position will demonstrate a commitment to upholding standards for excellence in food quality, guest experience and staff development. This position will assist the General Manager with overall restaurant operations. Individuals in this role, must be proficient and capable of performing any function in the restaurant. They are responsible for the restaurant when General Manager is unavailable. This position works collaboratively in a team environment.

Requires availability during all restaurant operating hours as well as availability two (2) hours prior and two (2) hours after open and close of the restaurant. This position is a non-exempt position with an hourly wage range of $24 - $29.

  • Ability to perform all crew level functions inside the restaurant to support restaurant business needs regardless of the circumstance.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to commute where there is a management opening at other Burgerville locations.
  • Ability to help manage multiple restaurant locations upon request.
  • Ability to work various shifts between 8:30am-11pm.
  • Reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Educational/Professional Requirements & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a high-performing Shift Lead at Burgerville, or 1-2 years in the restaurant industry required.
  • Food Handlers Certificate/Card required and can be obtained online.
  • First Aid certification is required and provided by Burgerville at no cost to the employee.
  • Basic computer knowledge and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software specific to the food industry (i.e. POSI, Crunchtime, etc).
  • Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, communication by e-mail and using scheduling software.
  • Basic computer knowledge and troubleshooting of equipment.
